On the 26th of September, Van Leeuwen celebrated its 100th anniversary with a festive event in Zwijndrecht, with 300 guests from the Netherlands and abroad. Highlight of the evening was being presented with the designation ‘Royal’ by the King's Commissioner of the province of Zuid-Holland.
